About

Dr. Powell grew up in Florida, starting in Valrico and then moving to Jacksonville. He began his education at the University of Florida and after graduation moved back to the Tampa Bay area for medical school at the University of South Florida, College of Medicine, where he also obtained his Masters of Business Administration. He stayed at USF for his residency in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He joined Florida E.N.T. & Allergy after his training and also joined the USF faculty as a clinical faculty member.

Dr. Powell is a rabid Florida Gator fan and during his free time, he enjoys playing sports and coaching his children’s sports teams.
